Meet The Team

Geoff has been practicing dentistry for 30 years and is the owner director of Mission Bay Dental. As well as general dentistry qualifications Geoff is particularly interested in Implant replacement and restorative dentistry. Away from work, Geoff interests include fishing and diving. Geoff has also competed in 4 iron man competitions.

Mandy worked in the dental industry in Arizona USA for 4 years as a dental assistant before returning to New Zealand to study hygiene in Otago. She has now been a qualified hygienist for 19 years with the emphasis on patient comfort and education.

Sophie has been working in the dental industry for over 7 years, starting out as a Dental Assistant & Receptionist in the Waikato and eventually joining us here in Auckland as our Practice Manager. She is the friendly face that will greet you at reception. Outside of work Sophie enjoys a her part-time studies, hiking, paddle boarding and returning to the Waikato to spend time with family and friends.

Danielle has been in dentistry for 11 years, starting in the school dental service and then moving on to train as the head auxiliary nurse where she ran her own surgery in a 10-chair practice. She has excellent knowledge of assisting in implant surgeries as a clean/dirty nurse. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys hanging out with her rescue bulldog and riding horses along Muriwai beach.

Joy graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago. She moved to New Zealand with her family when she was 11 years old. As she was originally from Taiwan, she is fluent in both Mandarin and English. Joy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but her primary interest lies in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She is committed to developing a lasting relationship with her patients as she strives to always give the best treatment possible. Outside of work, Joy enjoys growing her own fruits and vegetables. She also likes to cook and bake with her harvest.
